It's minimalist, all-black appearance and feel. It requires only a few steps out-of-the-box, with just a couple of snaps to join the side brushes included and the charging dock. Its dirt compartment is a bit tiny, and you may have to empty it quite often. IQ Robot XL performed well during tests and reacted quickly to the app's controls. The app allows you to select different power modes, change settings, and track the robot's battery level. The app also comes with a Find Robot button that helps you locate the device in case it gets lost. The IQ Robot XL, like other Shark products has a powerful suction that can easily handle dust bunnies and dog hair. The self-cleaning brushroll keeps hair from sticking to the machine as it combs out debris. Its navigation module uses a combination of sensors to scan the environment as it moves, but it's not as thorough as those with LIDAR modules. It takes a few clean cycles before the IQ Robot XL completely maps your space. The Shark IQ Robot XL offers superior performance on multiple surfaces compared to the iRobot Roomba 690. It is also easier to maintain and incurs lower recurring cost. However, the iRobot feels better-built, charges faster while offering similar battery power, and comes with an extensive suite of features for automation that allows you to set up your home's coverage map using no-go zones. 4. Eufy 11S The Eufy 11S is a great option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can clean according to their schedule but do not require smartphone or voice control. This slim robot is easy to install and maintain, and can take out dust and dirt without much effort. It is recommended for cleaning light-duty daily tasks to keep your floors looking fantastic. It's not as impressive than the other top choices in our test program for vacuums, but it still offers some benefits that are worth a look. For example, its short stature lets it navigate under furniture with a low profile, something that other vacuums aren't able to.
